    I have been hunting for reasonably priced iOS apps that can read OBD codes from my generic ELM327. The first free one I have found is lap logger lite. Does not look great but it should keep me going until one of the more expensive apps are on sale.

    Any updates? I am thinking of getting the Elm327 WIFI but I want to use codes to, for example, stop the reverse beep and such.

    Engine link turns out to be the best cheap app compatible with the elm that I have found for iPhone.
    .
    I don't think you can stop reverse beep with enginelink but you can read codes.

    Seems so far I cannot find not one app that will take commands. How frustrating. I don't understand why.
