Does the traction battery cooling fan run if necessary after the car (2013 c2) is shut down, if so couldn't this run down the 12v battery (the evaporation cycle is somewhat short so is a non issue) ?

Mine seems to stop every time I power off the car.

This is good IMO - my 2010 Fusion hybrid does this (car off = fan off) but the 2013 Fusion hybrids (& C-Max hybrid) run the high voltage battery cooling fan after the car is shut down if needed (this is from what I can tell, I have no inside info) this would be bad for warm climates, the fan would run half the night :(

My understanding of the Prius is that if the car does not display READY on the dash, the HV system is isolated and not live (and I'm assuming we are hearing those relays clunk on or off when turning the car on or off). Happy to be corrected though.

No, it only power on in Ig-On or READY.

The IGCT Relay only turns on when MREL of Power Management Control ECU is turned on, i.e. during Ig-On or READY. At other power state, ACC or OFF, there is no power to the fan.

The EVAP leak check is internal to the fuel tank and has nothing to do with the Battery Cooling Blower.

Yes, HV system is isolated when no READY is displayed. Please note that the Battery Cooling Blower runs on 12V and not on High Voltage so the car need not be in READY to run the fan. The Battery Smart Unit sends info. such as Battery Temperature to the Power Management Control ECU which then commands the Battery Cooling Blower to adjust an appropriate fan speed.
