You know sometimes when I browse all the great things Prius owners are adding and doing to their vehicles it makes me upset that I'm so unskilled in those areas.

But I know my strengths and weaknesses. With most of these projects I just have to marvel at the final results. I damn near killed myself just trying to get my Wheelskin steering wheel cover installed and I'm happy when I get the self stick Blind Spot mirror in the right place.

But there are certainly some real nice upgrading going on...

 

OK found it.. sorry... i dont understand why they work in a 2012 Prius and not a 2013.. isnt the bulb the same?

 

Yes, they are the same. Should be no different compatibility-wise between 2013 and 2012.

 

The complete install took me about 4 hours could have done it faster but took my time.

Nope just asked a lot of questions prior to install. But actual install is pretty easy simple. Bumper came off in 5 min.

thanks. so is the bumper a direct fit? only hard part is the led driving.lights?

 

Installed a Samco Sport induction kit today. I wanted it just because it was blue ...

 

Not today, but a month ago. Installed jdm side mirror winker. Thanks to the forum for the wealth of install info on this.

 

Here's a recent pic of my Prius. Its a little dirty but there's been fires out here in Socal so haven't got around to washing it. Got a few more plans for it soon such as lowering springs, HID's, etc, but that will come in due time.

Picked up a nifty organizer that fits perfectly below the "bridge". It is a Rubbermaid "Bento" in small size, with configurable dividers inside. $7 at Target.

 

Installed high power led bulbs for the fog light. right side bulb is Halogen 100W bulb and left side is 40W LED bulb 3200 lumens.

 

where is everyone getting that plastic cover under the hood to cover the battery? looks nass

Where did you get them?, 3200lms is pretty bright! What kelvin are they?

 

it is plug and play. very bright compared to the halogen bulbs as you can see in the picture. color temp is 6000K.
