I purchased a 10 foot exterior sunshade today in preparation for another heat wave this weekend. Will it fit in the car? Yes, yes it will. With room to for the toddler and her mom reclined in the passenger seat. This car continues to impress me. I was going to dangle it out the window but no need. And then there was this guy in a Lexus 2 seat convertible and suddenly, my triumph didn't seem so great. That's a water heater in his passenger seat.
Lol on the water heater. Probably got pulled over (hopefully) by LEO on the way home. Unless it was a very short drive home. SCH-I535
Seems dangerous, but I wouldn't pay to rent a Uhaul to take a sunshade home. Lol. Also that guy in the Lexus -- If he's rich enough to be driving that car around, you'd think he could have just rented one of the flatbeds at Home Depot or something.
That's my dash cam. I captured the Lexus as I was leaving the store. I don't like the placement, that's why the power cable is still dangling off the side instead of tidied up. My wife made the same comment about the Lexus.
it's a pretty versatile car. i actually found a used lawnmower on craigslist and was able to unscrew the handles and put it in the hatch. It was already holding a fire pit we just got at menard's too. plus had two little kids in backseat.
I've transported a fake 7 foot tall Christmas tree in the trunk without folding the seats down. Emboldened by the sun shade, I attempted to transport a sofa set my sister no longer wanted this Monday. After breaking down the sofa, I managed to cram all but 3 pieces in the Prius. It was a failure but impressive that 3/4 of a sofa fit inside. If it was a Prius v without the sloped hatch door, I pretty sure it would've fit completely.
Looks like you may have had nervous right lane changes. I could hardy see out the right side with all the sofa cushions in the way.
That hardly looks safe to drive. There's little room for the driver to sit without bumping into the sup.
