What car would you have bought if not the Prius? Was Prius your first choice or did you settle because of fuel concerns or other? Thanks.
Probably between a Honda accord and a Subaru Legacy. I had a Legacy leased car and really liked it. But I prefer the 50+ mpg in both of our Prius cars over the 25+ in the Legacy.
Hmm... It's sounds strange since I've long wanted a Prius. And I think The Prius is one of the most practical vehicles you can own. But often that isn't the reason I buy a vehicle. Believe it or not, I think the other vehicle that I'd like to say I owned, would be a Mini-Cooper convertible. I just think it would be a blast to drive. Absolutely not practical. But I just can't imagine it wouldn't be a lot of fun.
Tesla. Don't care which one. I have wanted a roadster for a while, I want the S now, and I have a deposit for an X.
I almost bought a Ford C-Max Energi. 47 mpg over 50 mpg was no big deal compared to increased EV range and interior space. But they had just come out and my my dealer did not have any. I'm so glad I didn't since Ford overrated the fuel economy.
Total agree! I think most of us could afford a Tesla, if it was our life's lust and we didn't care about anything else. What do you need most out of life? Telsa? Not so much! Family!!! Yep, Prioritize!
Honda Fit, the size I was looking for and good mileage. On the way to look at the Fit, I stopped at the Toyota dealer to just look at the Prius. I went in thinking I'd like the mileage, but that thing must be a dog to achieve that. I was REALLY surprised at the performance and the mileage hooked me instantly. One other thing that grabbed my attention on the test drive, was the technology involved. Trying to convey some of this to my brother, then I realized he won't get it till he drives one. I'm still interested in the Fit if I ever sell the Lexus, then again I'd have to go by Toyota and check out the C.
Prob Honda Civic, had 2 previously but bought the prius when looking for another job and expecting baby #1
Prius V Mazda5 One of these will eventually be in the stable, replacing our other car (a Honda Civic)
