True Bra... you know the story about Moby Dick was based on a true tale of a rogue whale that killed many.
That is a very different type of whale. On the other hand, it would be interesting to hear his (or her) side of the story.
Evidently this showed up on a local news. It seems one of the swimmers is from Carlsbad, CA. He was on vacation in central California in Morro Bay Viral Video: Carlsbad Man Shares 'Whale' of a Tale - Around Town - Carlsbad, CA Patch
I found the video fascinating. It made me wonder about the mental capacity of whales... and their awaareness of and attitude towards humans. Surely, sounding so close to the boat was intentional. Was it significant that the two whales were acting in unison? Were the divers percieved as sentinent, non-food beings? Could it have been meant to be a prank... or a warning?
I think their only interest was the school of sardines and it appeared that one was significantly larger than the other. Perhaps Mom teaching Junior how to feed on schools of bait fish, yummy!
