I have a 2012 Prius liftback I added small Blind Spot Mirrors today work great..............small creasent shape made for a motorcycle
They look a bit distracting IMO. If you adjust your mirrors properly you do not need them at all. Rest your head against the pillar and adjust the driver's side mirror outward until you can no longer see the side of the car. Do likewise with the passenger's side mirror but sitting normally. No blind spots at all. By the time I can see a car next to me out of the corner of my eye, its tail is still in my driver's side mirror.
like 32kcolors said... that's a little bit distracting for me .... maybe when you're used to it it not that distracting..... what I did is install wide angle mirrors....
I didn't find them distracting at all, but I was driving a company Ford Flex which has the build in in the top OS corner I guess I am just use to them, in my Mazda CX5 I have warning light in the mirrior and a chime if I put signal on when a car is in my blind spot
some people just want to argue.....anyway I and others like them, what's it to you???/ If you walk by one in a parking lot by all means just walk a big circle around it so that you don't have to be bothered by the eyesore!!!!
I am used to having separate blind spot mirrors, so I bought these at Pep Boys. I find the inside lower right corner worked on driver's side, lower left corner on passenger's side.
