When you get it all sorted out, check out this app I got it yesterday from another thread here, it is freaking HILARIOUS!
It works amazing well. It has your speed via GPS and BlueTooths the audio to your speakers. Can't wait to drive someone around with it.
Is this the 6.1 system? Does that have the external amp under the seat? I thought only the 7.1 JBL system had the amp under the seat. Detroit What days you gonna be there? We will be in Southfield on July 11th staying thru Sunday night. Our wedding is July 12th Mike
So far I'm coming into Lansing on Tuesday the 9th, driving to Detroit on Wednesday for a Thursday morning meeting, Ann Arbor Thursday afternoon and possibly either Kalamazoo or Grand Rapids on Friday. Or I might just head back home Thursday night. Have some serious meetings the following week in Chicago that I will need to get ready for. Getting married in Detroit? Congrats!
Were getting hitched in Hell Hell, Michigan - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia We arrive in Southfield on Thursday evening. Driving straight thru so it will be a ~12 hour drive with stops. Looks like we will not cross paths just yet... One of these days we may do so Mike
I did trade it in. I got it repaired and sold it to a dealer. Only the front bumper was replaced and a little of the hood was painted. I got $26,500 for it. I ended up getting a PIPA with all the rebates and tax credit and CA rebate.
WOW! That's significant depreciation! The FiveAT was MSRP around 35K. 8.5K of depreciation in a year. I thought these things are supposed to hold their value well. I guess I will hang on to mine. No plug-in in Texas yet, and I am not too crazy about the Volt.
Dealers offer wholesale prices so they can make money dealing with vehicles. A Private sale would have gotten more in my opinion. Sometimes it is just easier to trade something in just to get rid of it Mike
Yep. Wake me up when they have a plug in that will have all the bells and whistles of my Five plus a solar panel, 60 mile range on a charge, and 60MPG on gas. I will trade then. I am about to hit 19K on mine, purchase 6/16/12. WE0H, I will be happy to put some miles on your garage queen for ya.
I just put the summer insurance coverage on it yesterday and even bought license tabs this week All she needs is a oil change and bath and she is ready to hit the road It will be interesting to see how the HV battery handled sitting since early November. I have my homebrew 14v battery charger on the little battery so it will be fine. I did get the HV battery near the top (charge) when I parked it last fall so... Mike
Blew another amp last week, car is back at the dealer. I'm in a 2012 Camry SE for a loaner and I must say, I am impressed! Drive to Chicago yesterday, got 40.3mpg on the way down. Came back today, total trip was 307 miles, I'm averaging 31.3. I had 4 adults and luggage in the car while down there and was driving rather aggressively. It's amazing how sporty a Camry feels after the Prius. I can't believe how much trunk space there is. I'm kind of regretting replacing getting the 2012....
Our wedding went awesome. The weather was perfect. No rain. We all got killer tans. Denise and I are in Bowling Green Kentucky this week relaxing. I have put a few thousand miles on Camry SE's and really like those cars. It is easy to run mid 30's mpg. Camry Hybrid would be fun to drive with even more power and near Prius mpg's. If you can dump your current Prius, do so as I am thinking that is why it was traded in before you got it. It has electrical issues. Wonder if it was in the Sandy storm out East? Congrats on the wedding I don't think it was flooded. It's been in Kansas City it's whole life and still smells new.
Sumthin funny about that car Go test drive a Camry Hybrid I wish we could rent them. We have a 2014 Kia Sorento right now and so far put 3k miles on it and I can make it run 30 mpg driving nice Not bad for an SUV. Mike Mobile on my SGH-i717
