Thanks! I compressed the rears just a little and they popped right out with an old tire iron pry bar. Had the fronts out in an hour thanks to the earlier practice and my mechanic had such an easy time he only charged me $30 to swap the front assemblies. Win for all! :)

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I had a big sticker going down the passenger side of my Yaris for over a year, didn't get pulled over once. I had also looked for that AS1 line and couldn't find anything like that.

Cool mods, I like the tissue holder, got a part # or where can I get one. I tried the search in the Prius C forum and came up zero.

Found sometime to install the dashcam last night. I'm very happy with the results and the quality is amazing for the price. Big thanks to ucsmfu for the diy write up. I didn't even have to read the instructions that it came with. Here are the results of the install.

    Nice mod David. (y)

You might want to remove some of those duplicate pics. ;)

You didn't consider mounting the cam off to one side (maybe passenger side) and higher up on the windshield? Mounted there, it would be hidden behind your rear view mirror, and you wouldn't even be aware of it from the driver's position. Seems like it is in your field of view mounted down low like that in the middle of the windshield.

SO funny I did the same exact HD Cam. I just took it from my Lexus GX though before the dealer drove off with it in the trade in.

Washed and waxed the pri today, and finished plasti dipping the emblems except for the rear toyota symbol. Anyone know an easy suggestion on how to access the rear of the emblem to remove it??

Rear toyota emblem, you can just use a credit card to pry it off, it comes off easily, other emblems you can use fishing wire and a heat gun :)

I got all the others off with a blow dryer and dental floss. The front toyota emblem was screwed on so I figured the rear was the same.

From my eye level I can barely see the bottom of the camera. Pictures probably does not do it justice. I positioned it in the exact location ucsmfu did (right below the black tint line). From my perspective the rear view mirror covers the majority of the camera.

Yeah that spot is perfect. For me at any rate I can't see it and it's dead smack in the middle. On my GX I put it to the left as it fit best there but it was not as ideal a place as this.

Let's see.. Today was an eventful today.

I started with the carbon fiber decal mod..

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371967676.164213.jpg

Next I went ahead and used VHT nightshades for the back emblem and plasti dip for the front. Still can't decide which I like better!

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371967775.564285.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371967820.413659.jpg

As you can see I also took off the back badges and painted them. Added a little carbon fiber detail in the synergy drive one. For anyone wondering there's 2 holes on each emblem :-( ill probably leave them off and get it filled in.

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371967906.546278.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371967924.546418.jpg

Also painted the side emblems with plasti dip..

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371967954.480677.jpg

Blacked out the 3rd tail light..

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371968017.829556.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371968042.413208.jpg

Painted the blinker parts of the DRL assembly cover..

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371968139.663336.jpg

And just gave her a nice bath. I used a product by meguiars that helps restore plastic on the outside..

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1371968166.512628.jpg

I'll upload more pics if ya want :)

Ultimate black plastic restorer. It was 7.49 plus tax at Autozone, and man it worked so nice. I used a wet applicator pad and just used a dry one to clean up the "greasiness." Here's another beauty shot before I painted the DRLs

I just vinyl wrapped my hood in matte black. It took me about an hour and a half doing it by myself and that included washing and claybar the hood, and Measuring and cutting the vinyl. It wasn't that bad. :)

I'm going to move onto the front bumper. I'm really not looking forward to this with all the complex curves. The forward lights are also going to be wrapped in laminx

Hello Modders! I got my BLACK VIP tables from Jin at Kyoei USA. Install was a cinch and makes the interior look more VIP along with the wood grain interior. Thanks Rodney for your blessing on the tables! Sorry if pics are not clear I used the old iPhone 4... Enjoy!

Nice. I wish they sold a matching or close to matching steering wheel. I love the Piano Black. Not sure what I'm gonna do but I really need more contrast in the interior. Love the grey wood grain style. I can't do tables anymore. Lol last table for my lexus cost me about a grand to have shipped and rebuilt for LHD. Still sitting in the garage.

Installed a magnetic oil drain plug today. Don't know if it's effective but worth the try.
