80 Watt headlight bulbs

    Has anyone tried the high wattage 80watt bulbs in there projector lights? Can the housing withstand the extra heat? Will it tax the headlight wiring to much?

    I think there will be heat issues. And after I while, there will probably be burn marks in the projector bowls as well. Why the need for 80 watt bulbs?

    Not sure what "more is better" means but it will be "LESS is better" if you use 35W HID when talking about light output.

    All you'll get is a shorter bulb life with headlamp damage :eek:

    Or get a hid retro fit done with a quad setup (2 projectors each side, so two 35w kits on each side, 70w of lighting on each side.)
