I've driven 34,000 miles, I'm averaging 54 mpg I had the car in the shop for oil changes/tire rotations only, no actual repairs I replaced all 4 tires at 32k miles for all-season radials, the car rides much quieter now The only "issue" is Being in the North East when I fill my so-called gas tank, actually its a bladder my gas gauge won't show all bars when full if its been below freezing temps for a few days but when it warms up, all bars are back. The dealer said it's a Prius Thing and its normal, and he preceded to tell me "not" to fill the tank when you have more than 3/4's full, to actually run the tank down to 1/4 then fill, not a problem with me I drive almost 140 miles a day the only thing I added to the car was a dashboard camera. I removed one of the rear headrests so I can see out the back window After the Entune update they system works well....for me...sorta I don't use the dashboard GPS any more, I use the waze app on my phone not a fan of open table (never used it) same with Movie Tickets and iHeartRadio is a waste I wish there was a way to configure for custom apps on Entune, I would love to see TuneIn instead of ifartradio, Pandora is okay if you want the cookie cutter versions of songs and the car still looks like new Am I happy after a year..... Yes
what phone holder do you use? i've been using the built-in navigation but i hate the display/colors/fonts it uses. i much prefer the maps on my iphone.
GPS Car DVR Dual Lens Camera Recorder 2.7" LCD DVR Video Dashboard Vehicle Cam - Newegg.com I like the camera, use it every time I drive I have a 16GB TF (micro-SD) card and it records 6 hours of video, the computer player for video is very nice, easy to use and control
Amazon.com: Arkon Universal Windshield with Dashboard and Console Mount for Mobile Phones and Smartphones (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories I have a HTC EVO 4G LTE and it cradles it nicely
Might want to look for a new dealer... I'm just kidding. Usually car salesmen only retain enough information to be dangerous to their customers. The gen 2 Prius had a bladder, but Toyota realized this wasn't a consistent design on the gas gauge and the customers were having issues figuring out how much gas they actually had. So with the Gen 3 they changed it back to a bladderless gas tank. The C and the V followed suit.
After trying several holders and mounts, this is by far the best phone mount i have found; great product and great service. It's made by ProClip.
A question to the poster of this thread - Carrollights. Forgive me if I am getting too personal, but I was wondering what sort of job or social activity created 34,000 miles on your Prius C in just one year. I am a retired USAF pilot and have only 1,350 miles on my car for 9 months of driving. I appreciate your posting. It tells all us Prius C owners what a great car the Prius C is. That a lot of trouble free miles in a short period of time!
ufourya has 32,500 miles in 1 year 2 months: Stub (Toyota Prius C) | Fuelly The car is used as a delivery vehicle, and most of those miles are in the city.
