thinking of selling the car as it is..... if no one is interested I might part out some of the part and trade it in..... (still 50/50 on this but trying to see if anyone is interested)

anyone interested on my car as it is (with all the upgrades on it)?

lots of people asking about the cf mirror covers.... I think I might be able to re-use it on my new (planned) project

currently have almost 42K miles... and driving the car about 400-450 miles a week....

yup... just bought it from my lease...

if I decide to part out I might just to a part out day in a place hahahah.. and have the guys who want some parts come over to get or exchange parts with me....

currently the only OEM part that I might need are the tail lights...

Oooo.... Prius V looks nice! How much more storage space are you really getting with the V over the Hatch?

I rented a V before buying the Base (hatch). It has considerably more room in the hatch and rear seat. We took it on a light camping trip (tent and limited gear) and everything fit below the seat back. I tried the same gear on the base I rented a week later and it was filled considerably above the seat. The kids appreciated the rear room more also (and didn't have to worry about the battery fan intake).

If I was looking for a replacement for our family hauler (Odyssey) I would have considered the V harder. However, since the majority of driving is with me alone or on short trips around town with the family, the base made more sense for me.

    some details about the car...

2010 Prius - Package 3 w/ Nav and Sunroof (Solar) package and JBL
currently has about 42K miles and counting.... (add about 400-450 per week)
car still have warranty (toyota platinum)

    list of upgrades:
    OEM JDM LED headlights
Revier ver 2 Smoked LED Tail Lights
    Fog Lights
JDM Side Mirror Turn Signals w/ power folding feature
    Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood
    Carbon Fiber Side Mirror covers
    Carbon Fiber Fog Light garnish
    Clazzio Seat covers
    JDM Steering wheel
    Tom's Push Button Shifter
    Tom's Start Button
    Tom's CF Antenna
    Tom's Drop In Air Filter
    Tanabe Front Sway Bar
    TRD Rear Sway Bar
    HKS S-Style Coilovers
    Rays 57DR wheels (18 x 8.5 ET38) w/ continental DWS tires

not the entire list but those are things that came right into my mind..... I have a roof rack right now buy it is not included on the sale..... I would probably be looking at the 24.5K+ range with all the upgrades

again I'm just looking if someone would be interested on buying the car as it is.... now if there will be no interest on that and I've decided to move on my next project.. I'll put the car back to stock and trade it in... and sell the parts which I could not re-use for my next project.....

    thanks........

How did you like the ride of the coil overs? I have eibachs on now but I would like to do coil overs. Any pros and cons with it? I don't wanna go lower just wanna have the same height but a better suspension. Please let me know what you guys think.

Never heard of coilovers providing a more comfortable ride compared to lowering springs. It's primarily to go lower or lower it to your exact specifications; however, I'll let those who have coilovers chime in. What you might want to do is compare the ride of coilovers vs. air runner suspension.

I like the ride of the coil overs compared to just springs (again this is just my opinion.. others would like it the other way around).. if you just want a better suspension with the same height you have right now... my suggestion would be keep the springs and find a really good shocks... in may case.. I really want to go low that is why I sold my springs (and my other coil over)....

also compared to just springs the ride on the coil overs would be more stiff... the advantage of coil overs vs springs is I could adjust my ride height and the suspension dampening (depends if the coil over have this)... I cannot comment on air suspensions as I have never owned one.....

Coilovers do provide a better ride than springs,
Only air suspension that rides better is Air Runner but even then you need to custom set it up with short bags(as more air you run the rougher the ride will be

    Thanks.
