Just want to acknowledge the contribution that Hybrid Interface has made in the PHEV community.
According to the website the product will be supported but no longer for sale as of June 2013.
Thank very much and you will be missed.

This is what I was looking for:
Let me add my thanks too!

We went from NHW11 (2003 Prius) to a ZVW30 (2010 Prius) so we were never really in the market for this technology. I wasn't following it. But I am impressed with the technical approach and always give credit to those who have come up with a clever, technical solution.

    Well done!

To Norm, the creator and manufacturer of such a product under the brand name of CanView and CanView+ products.
I had been one of the early adopters of your products since the beginning of their inception in the PHEV niche, upgrading for the newer product line as soon they came out of the oven and test them for you to work out any wrinkles.
Your products had made a big difference for the DIY adventurous in this line of the car technology non OEM upgrades.
I do want to tank you for such an outstanding line of products you provided us and regret to hear that CanView+ will not longer be a product catalog in your company website.
I wish you the best in your next technology endeavor.
    Your Friend
    Horacio

    Hi all.
I'm Carlo from Italy (so please forgive my bad english).
Last autumn I bought a 2008 Prius. Playing with the idea to add an extra battery and eventually PHEV capability I came across the hybridinterfaces site and I got very enthusiastic about the proposed system.
Before to work on the car, I wanted to wait fo the warranty on the hybrid parts to expire, which happens in spring 2014, but now I discovered that hybridinterfaces will close. This shocked me alot. I wrote at the email address reported on the site (eflier[]ns.sympatico.ca), but I didn't get any answer.
I DO WANT to go on with the project, so please if know how to get in contact with hybridinterfaces please let me know. Help a desperate Prius owner...
    Thanks.

I indeed hope that someone will sell me the board, if I can't get it from Hybridinterfaces.
What battery do you have, NiMh or Lithium?

I prefer to use stock nimh cells, not Lithium cells, had bad experiences with them.
If you decide to sell the interface please let me know.

I got an answer from Norm.
He sold all the boards and won't produce any new board unless he finds at least 4 people firmly interested :(

My BMS+ is still working, out of all the PHEV options Norm's BMS+ or BMS2 was the best option for the DIY person.

    Thanks Norm.

Just noticed that Norm's website has finally closed shop. Domain name is for sale.

    RIP

I have a copy of Norm's website in a compressed file, it is 22mB. Too big to upload.

The site as of July 2014 is archived here:
    CAN-view index
May not be complete, missing images, etc.

Thanks. I also noticed that under the CODES page you can download CAD PCB files to build your own BMS2. Thanks again Norm.

EDIT: Just noticed I cannot download any of the CODES files. Bummer.....

    Are the code files available?

    Hi Planetaire,

I downloaded all the Hex code files before the website shut down. They are attached in a compressed file.

However I noticed that in the CAN-view index there are also PCB CAD drawing files, schematic files that can be downloaded to build your own BMS2. I had never seen these files previously.

I would like a copy of these:

    https://web.archive.org/web/20131220054654/http://www.hybridinterfaces.ca/downloads/BMS2012dip.sch
    https://web.archive.org/web/20131220054654/http://www.hybridinterfaces.ca/downloads/BMS2.pcb
    https://web.archive.org/web/20131220054654/http://www.hybridinterfaces.ca/downloads/BMS_harness.sch
    https://web.archive.org/web/20131220054654/http://www.hybridinterfaces.ca/downloads/BMS2basicparts.xls

    But they cannot be downloaded.

    Thanks.
