So far the only switch that I've seen illuminate is the OEM non-folding 2012-current

    Anytime. Glad I could help

Looks really good ucsmfu, enjoy. The mirrors always start up good conversation.

I'm installing a set on a 2012 on Friday for another member (l'll let him disclose who he his). So far it's just a handful of us with the JDM folding mirrors. :D

I had 2 installers working on the mirrors, the ones that installed my Compustar Drone mobile, took them 8 hours to finish ><, today while I was driving on the highway, the left mirror, was flapping, scared that it would fly off, so I pulled over and pushed it in, guess it was loose :/

1st day review of the folding mirrors: The cool factor is definitely there, catches people's attention every time I lock my door
    - Its great for protecting your mirrors in tight parking lots, people walking between cars, and cyclists.
    - After having the folding mirrors lying around for a year, I'm glad I got around installing it :), definitely one of the best mods :)

Yes, I'm quite happy with it. There are four different sensitivity setting. I have it set on the second level and can back up to something that is only about 8in away when I get a solid tone.

Installation was pretty simple. Here is a pic of the metal tape inside the bumper cover. The manufacturer suggested to coat the tape with some underbody coating to prevent any possible chance of corrosion. I just used some PlastiDip. The power connection to the electronics box was tapped from the tail light reverse bulb.

30K and wheel alignment service complete! It was fun to see a handful of service and tech personnel surround my car to talk about all the upgrades (2012 complete front bumper conversion, the HIDs, Clazzio leather seat covers, Prius Plus ground effects kit and, especially the JDM auto-folding mirrors.) Thanks again Rodney and Sean!! image.jpg

Finding a stock bumper with no flaws to very little flaws in the original Blizzard Pearl color took some time. Then gathering ALL the needed parts (bolts, brackets, turn signals, etc.) took some time as well because after you think you got all the required items, there was always something missing or needed that was overlooked (n) . Then came the installation. Sean (aka. sfv41901), handled the actual installation and wiring. And that took 7+ hours. But all in all everything came out perfect! On a scale from 0-10...the difficult rating would be an 8 (due to the immaculate electrical wiring Sean performed on the installation). :D

Turned right (left) into a pole in my parking garage. I just pulled out of my spot so wasn't moving too fast, but man it sure did crumple. I was all set to finish the Morimoto H1 retrofit and install my new coilovers that arrived.

    Best laid plans...
