    Hello all, I am new plug-in owner and we have about 5k miles on the 2012. We have a message that says service engine soon on the display...anyone else encountered this so early?

    You definitely have to follow the service schedule, but this one isn't a big deal.

    The 5,000 mile services is just tire rotation and fluid inspection, no oil is changed.

    The car has service reminder messages. You can shut if off is desired in the touchscreen. I leave it on.
