Nice! My C2 has okay lights - especially compared to my '97 Prizm. But my wife's 2007 Fit Sport blows it away - especially like the spill to the side which makes it easier to see people and stuff at night. Thanks for the comparison pics.
The fogs on the c4 make a huge difference. After I added my HID kit to the fogs as well I have not had to turn the brights on in forever.
i installed some orange leds in the corner lights/running lights. its ok. not that bright in day time. ill have to see at night. the reason i didnt go with white leds is because i like the contrast between the hids and orange leds. pics will be up later when i take some at night
they were super easy! hardest part for me was taking out the original bulbs and putting the new bulbs in because i have big hands. and dont take it the wrong way, it was hard because you have to twist the bulb so having big hands didnt help. but it was easy. its like a must do mod
Hmmm I just noticed your photo from May doesn't have sound proofing under the hood. Is that normal? EDIT: The c 3 in this review seems to have it: The College Driver » First Drive: 2012 Toyota Prius c
finally bought and installed the armrest! best thing ive done to the car yet! finally have a little more storage and a place to rest my arm. pics shall be up sooner or later
looks like the 3 and 4, without a doubt have the shield. im really hoping another 1 or even 2 owner chimes in. maybe i got ripped off at the dealer? but what in the world can they do with the heat shield? i guess another thing to add to the list of making the C1 into the higher models is the heat shield. ill have to look up a parts catalogue, or i might just get some heat shielding sound proofing material.
this is the one i installed 2007 2011 Toyota Yaris 3 5 Door Black Leather Armrest Center Console Storage Box | eBay
Please forgive me, seems unfinished inside. These ship without any sort of interior felt, etc? Like this... http://i637.photobucket.com/albums/uu92/x3speedauto/Armrest/LeatherB-4.jpg
yes, they are "unfinished". the inside is just bare plastic. but the top part is leather and has cushioning too. i plan on lining the inside with felt but that can wait. but seeing you have C1, i think this is the cheapest and best armrest you can buy. its sturdy too! i used it by simply putting it in the cup holder for a couple of days and it was sturdy. i just added some double sided tape so it is now even more sturdy.
Package 2 has the insulation/soundproofing under the hood. H11 HID's are so easy to install, no wires to the battery or anything. The hardest part is finding good spots for the ballasts.
