Hey guys, So I really like the headlights of the new 2013 Prius Five and Prius Plug In with the eyebrow LED lights... I wanted to get a set of those and throw them on my 2010 Prius IV. I know that they have the auto leveler and headlamp washers but I don't need those. Was wondering if I could just install these and plug and play or if there is more to it than that. I don't know how the eyebrow or the extra bulbs for the LED projectors would wire up, if they are different or the same or if I need to buy anything extra to run them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Should work. May need some minor mod for the wiring harness. You need to look at this thread first before you do it. •LED headlamps questions | PriusChat
I converted my Prius III to led headlights (per 2012 jdm led headlights) ... If you'll be able to get the conversion kit like I did its plug and play.. If not you have to do some minor rewiring. The 2013 led headlights are still expensive to get.... After 1 year (JDM ZVW30 project).... | Page 11 | PriusChat
While I like the LED parking lights, I'm not a fan of the squarish design of the 2012-13 LED headlights. The round design of the 2010-11 LED headlights looks significantly better IMO (in addition to having a blue housing vs. clear on the 2012-13 Five).
Check out After 1 year (JDM ZVW30 project).... Same as USDM 2010-11 LED headlights except with clear side reflectors. Sean (sfv41901) has the single lens JDM Prius G HID headlights and that's probably who you were thinking of.
Okay, I see what you mean now. I saw some pics on the Toyota site. The area for the highbeam is now squared off vs round. The LED projectors themselves are still round.
Can I get a link for those??? And they will work for the 2013 headlights to the 2010 non led headlights correct?
Yes, they will fit & yes they will work, but u either need to get the adapters like Bino posted or u can but the connectors & terminals from the deal. This will not be a cheap mod though......these lights are still very newon the market & expensive.
