New to Prius..and excited!! and questions...

I would have purchased a Apple Mac Book but man it is costly, but my office is a windows shop any who.

Looks like marketing is working ... on some people ... MS history doesn't matter right they yet to figure out how to create a safe OS for personal computers why do you think this version is any better ??? Or do you think they make windows unsafe on purpose so you have the opportunity to support other high quality companies like McAffee ??? so your are not hacked??? at least apple better at that ...
But this is my last comment on this since it is way off topic ... I am happy that my 2012 Prius Two just can play mp3 form USB and also over bluetooth and the rest ...

My iPhone 5 auto connects to the PiP audio system through Bluetooth. You can play any music from the iPhone, local files, iCloud streaming, or App streaming. When a call comes in the music fades out, phone rings, you answer, talk and after the call the music resumes.

Isn't this how it should work? Are other phones not the same?

 

I made the mistake saying this because I never tried and was under the faulty impression that only one of the profile can work at the time but even my dumb BB (company issued) can do that so I am pretty sure this is the norm. BUT you definitely can not connect two different device that is why I am not pairing GPS via bluetooth to the car audio so that I can use the phone.

 

I was also surprised when Google Maps turn-by-turn voice navigation played through the cars audio via Bluetooth while streaming music. The music also fades down when the voice prompts are announced.
