Is there any writeups/diagrams on how to remove the front seats and rear seats from the Prius C?

Wanting to put some more sound deadening on the floor of the car and I need to remove the carpet... but I can't do that because the seats are in the way ;)

    Thanks for the help!

Not sure about the write up part. But there is a thread about just this thing. Someone puts a ton of deadener in the car and took pictures of the whole process. Can't remember who it was, but it is definitely worth a search.

Wow, thanks so much for that!! :) Where'd you get that from? Do you happen to have the rear seat removal instructions too ? I'd rather have the 'official' ones so I can follow it. Thank you!!!!!!!

Don't worry about that. First remove the push clips then just pull outward in a slow forward motion.

Do you know if it is possible to separate the back rest from the seating portion of the passenger seat? I have a thread started here:

It seems like people in this thread might have the knowledge to help me. Thank you!

Do you think this is true for the Prius C:

"The reason I suggest this is that properly removing and reinstalling the front passenger seat on US models can be a hassle, not to mention potentially unsafe in a collision.
The front passenger seat is held by four bolts, and has two or three wire harness connectors.
However, the seat is equipped with an Occupant Classification System (OCS) ECU that communicates with the Airbag system. The seat also has the seat cushion switch, seat belt buckle sensor, four weight sensors in the seat frame, the seat cushion airbag, and the side airbag.
Turning the vehicle on while the seat is disconnected will set diagnostic trouble codes in the airbag ECU that may prevent normal operation of the airbag in the event of a collision, and will need to be cleared after reinstalling the seat.
Zero-calibration of the OCS system is required each time the seat is removed and reinstalled."

    Which is from this thread:

    Thanks in advance.

Here's a writeup I did when I removed the back seats completely. The front seats are pretty simple, just 4 screws on the tracks that slide the seat forward/backward under some pop off plastic covers and 3 connectors per seat.

I assume you were adding deadening for a subwoofer? I'd love to see pics of your system! I have a 15" sub in my PC2 using about 1500 watts rms in a custom box. Subs in a hatch are the best!
