I think I will swap out the green dash LED's to blue. Not sure yet
Also thinking of smoking the taillights to hide the hideous Altezza look
Also looking at Pioneer Nav units

That's probably better than the 3m pads, but you are still depending on the adhesive on the back side of the Velcro (in a vertical position), vibration, and heat from the sun. I'm not saying my way will be better, just that I didn't trust mounting it to the inside of the fender.

Well, the remote start install is complete and works just as expected. The only thing I didn't hook up was the rear defrost output (too much of a pain to get to)

I will try to post a video in the morning. I programmed both my viper systems to one remote and it works flawless. I made all the connections for the SmartStart, but left it out because I just ordered the new version with GPS locating.

Hi guys . the hid conversion looks nice but please remember that the viper and most alarm systems flash the headlights when the alarm is triggered and is definately not recomended for HID's as it can tie the ballast in knots and may lead to failure, so either dissable it or use parking lights or fog lights for a visual alarm indication.

Radio shack of all places has a very good industrial velcro and it never falls off even when hot.
Make sure you get the right one, think they call it "permenant" velcro but it's got a hard backing unlike the soft regular stuff and comes in 3"x1" bubble packing.
Workes forever but is difficult to remove . but that's good . right .....

While that is true about being hard on the HID's it is not the industry standard to hook up the headlights to the alarm. Most installer hook up to the parking lights as a common practice. But I think that is a good point

Do you have any photos of the cutoff you are getting with you HIDs? Say on a white wall at night. I am looking at getting the same kit you got in 4300k also but don't see many photos, most have 6000k. Also are the LEDs matching in color to your HIDs. Thanks.

It's a bad picture, but I drove around to the back of the local grocery store last night to try to get you a picture of the cutoff image.jpg

Thanks for the picture of the cutoff. I will be ordering my hid kit in a couple weeks. Can you notice a color difference from your parking light LEDs and your HIDs.

The 4300's are definitely whiter than the the stock halogens, but the led's definitely are a little whiter. So yes here is a slight color difference, not enough that it looks bad though. I have had a few people comment that the combination looks great on the "C"
