Just ordered a set for 24.99 + free shipping. Can't wait to install them. Thanks for posting OP. This is just what I was looking for bc I didn't want to pay $75+ for LEDs.

Installed mine yesterday. There is a clear plastic cover on the back of the holder that unclips. Took a few minutes to figure out but not difficult. If you're still having a problem, I'll pull it from the door and take a photo.

Question: did you or anyone else who purchased this package have a problem with the cargo LED being slightly too wide for the holder? The factory cargo bulb is 31 mm. The packing list that came with the package states that the replacement LED is also 31 mm but the actual physical size is slightly more. It fits into the holder but just barely, and I think it might jump out with vibration over time. I'm wondering if anyone else had the same problem or maybe they sent me the wrong replacement for the cargo bulb. (All the others fit perfectly and look great.)

Yeah. I have the same issue as well. It's sitting pretty crooked in there. But lights up fine. I haven't been on any super bumpy roads or anything.
    But so far so good.

And if you can PLEASE show how to take the door bulb out it will be greatly appreciated!!

I wonder if the kit will fit a 2013 Prius2.
Looks like a nice addition to my wife's new ride. Might just do it along with lic plate LEDs as well.

there are no major changes from 2010 to 2012 to 2013. so, the led kit will work. but the question is do yo have a solar roof? then it might not work.

NO WAY on the solar roof. Living in Idaho is no where near as hot as say Florida.
    Going to order kit today.

Thanks for the confirmation about the cargo light. Mine is holding okay as well. Hope it will stay that way.

I've uploaded 3 photos showing the door lamp. I use the terms "lens" and "rear cover" to distinguish between the two parts (no idea what Toyota calls them). The first photo shows the parts after separation. You might start by holding the lens between two fingers of one hand while gently wiggling the rear cover with your other hand. The movement will give you an idea of the attachment points and how they separate. Part of the problem is that both pieces are clear plastic and look like they're a single unit instead of two parts. The key is to work gently and apply light force. They'll eventually come apart.

Although I'm not an engineer, I thought this was a particulary curious way of designing a simple device.

Post or PM me if you still have trouble.--Lee

It just refers to the color. 6000K xenon bluish white as opposed to ultra blue.

Just ordered the set for 24.99 with free shipping also. Ebay says 4 left, figured that sounds like a good deal. Question though, anyone want to save me the time digging and point me to some LED's to replace the foot well area lights with something similar in color to these?

Two of those will light up the driver and passenger foot well. I'm not sure if you want to light up the rear foot well but I think those will require additional wiring and LED panels. These panels will plug directly into the same sockets that the dimmer OEM plug into. I use double-sided tape to mount them. The link I sent you is from a seller in Hong Kong, it takes about 2 weeks to arrive. I found a local seller but the cost is double.

They have a discount on EBay and its about $55. Original price on Amazon/Store/EBay is about $79-89.

I personally went to their store in Alhambra, California. Easy install, but be warned these suckers are blindingly bright...haha.
