I am picking up my 2013 Four Sea Glass Pearl today, after being out of this forum for a couple of years. I started with a 2007 Prius Touring, then a 2010 IV, traded that for a 2011 GMC Train, after that was a 2012 Camry Hybrid. Now back to the Prius Four in 2013.

What I re-learned and had known from the time that I had the 2007 Prius, is that the Toyota Prius is the car to drive. Of the many cars that I have owned over the years the Prius has been the only car that provided the mileage that it advertized! With my 2010 I got 53 mpg.

This time I think that I will stay with the Prius, but who knows. I also have a 2010 Smart Passion that gets pretty good mileage.

What were you getting with the 2012 Camry Hybrid and which model was it LE, XLE?

I haven't lived with Cam Hy, but it was easy to get 2 different rental car '12 LE hybs over 43 MPG on gage and turned last one in at 45.8 MPG on gage.

Cam Hy is more expensive and doesn't have the cargo flex, but it chews up freeway asphalt much easier than Prius which has compromises in hill climbing (however, a large part of the US is pancake flat, not here in SF Bay Area).

I was only getting 38.5 mpg with it, but in one year I only put 3200 miles on it. I prefer to drive my Smart car, so I had to put a battery minder on the Camry to keep the battery up.

It was a XLE, great car but with the moon roof I didn't fit too well in the car, too tall. I fit much better in the Prius. I agree that the Camry has a smoother ride than the Prius, but the Prius is the car I prefer.

The Terrain has a 22 gal tank and is a great SUV, I had the 6 cly and it only got about 17mpg, lots of power but uses a lot of gas.
