That's the difference between European and US regulations. FHWA regulations require an amber reflector of some sort on the side. Toyota, not wanting to put a separate one in the bumper (like they did for the Gen I models), just puts it on the headlight. I do agree the clear reflector looks much better.
If the brigade would like a '13 Persona in the mix I'll jump in... Lost count of the numbers somewhere on page 46/47, where are we? 221, 222?
Welcome new members I shall figure out and assign numbers soon, hang in there. Okay here you all go, 217. batsai 219. ImeanGreen (you need to post a pic of your BP v) 220. Lutchenko (Number of Great Honor) 221. gconrad 222. Nicaaz (v)
Hello peeps! I just NOW realized there was a Blizzard Brigade. Check out my latest upgrade...2012 front bumper! Can I join the crew?
Hi! Just recently joined the Prius club with my new car. Already tinted the windows, and am waiting for warmer weather to install the fog lights, JDM mirrors (with turn signal lights), LED lights everywhere but the headlights, footwell lights, moldings, black wheel covers, and, of course, the speed lock override. Car and all parts bought and paid for, and are sitting in boxes in my living room, waiting for Spring.
Another one! dang.. j/k.. welcome! What % tint did you go with? And do you have shots of tint? I'm debating between 20 or 35% on all side windows.
I went with 35%. That's the legal limit in my state. No shots of the tint (yet), but it's dark enough to make the sun not too annoying, while still letting me see everything at night.
I had 35% in my last car but thought it was too light. What's different with this car, Prius, is the windows are smaller in size and black interior. Pics would be great when you have a chance. thanks
