Update: lol...would have been obvious had I looked at your replies on my laptop! I had to crop the photo (save it) email myself the photo and re-post... all for a non-inverted 600.0MI photo... looked correct on my iPhone though.
OK - here is a better stat for my 600 club entry. I've got to swear off hypermiling now. I could have stretched this to 700+ miles, but I have an entry there already. The fillup only took 9.94 gallons. Could have pushed the 800 mile club, but I do not want to be in the 800 mile club. My oath. I swear to: 1. Go the speed limit when timing the lights is not involved. 2. Turn on the AC when it is hot. 3. Don't go in the slowest lane just so I can drive slower. But this is the best time for us living in the Phoenix area. You should quit hypermiling around May/June when it gets too hot and you have to run your AC all the time. I would like to break 80 mpg X 800 mile tank before I stop hypermiling or at least not as aggressively. But I'm having a hard time because of work and short trips to lunch each day. I'm at 75.6 mpg @ around 420 miles. I was at 75.7 mpg this morning and 76 Monday morning. My mpg slowly goes down each day I work. Weekends are great and I usually boost it back up. This time of year I know I could break 80 but I would have to take a week off from work (ha, not doing that) or drive 100 miles a day for 8 days starting on Sunday, ending on Sunday so I only have 5 days that I drive to work, but that's too much driving. My hats off to ufourya able to get 86.1mpg on a full 700+ mile tank. That is insane.
I'd say you are fine except for #3. If you aren't in a hurry, and want to move over to the right lane to go slower, that's fine. Enjoy your music or the quiet time alone in the car.
If you opted to "overfill" a bit on your next fuel up, you should be able to make it. Otherwise, 10x your displayed MPG should result in you needing to add ~ 10.5 gallons (+/- 0.2 gallons), thus at 75.7, I'd expect that you would use 10.5 gallons if you filled up at 757 miles. Displayed x 11 gallons (again, assuming you got a complete fill up, not a partial fill up) will bring you within a few tenths of a gallon of empty (or empty if you are unlucky). I have found that I can add about 0.2 - 0.3 gallons of fuel after the first click off (and allowing 15 seconds to elapse), which could give you the comfort to try for 800 miles. But I think that if you were averaging 75.7 mpg, you'd make it to 800 miles with 0.9 gallons to spare (assuming your previous fill up was a complete fill up and the pump didn't shut off prematurely).
Just for some numbers, if you do 810 miles and average 27 mph, that is 30 hrs in the car with intense concentration on optimum fuel. That's 30 hrs too many for me. My son just got 55 mpg on a round trip from phoenix to tucson driving at 75 mph. he was going to slow down and drive under the limit but when he saw he was getting 55 mpg, he figured that was good enough. I agree with him - and actually safer too - 75 mph on I10 flows with traffic better than 65 or 70.

Well, I don't have any pictures, but here is what my MPG spreadsheet says for my 2010 III. By my count I've had 21 tanks with more than 600 miles, with a max of 638. Most of these were in the summer of '11 when my OEM Goodyear fuel max LRR tires were wearing down (a great summer!). I've since replaced them with Goodyear Comfortreads, which took about 10% off my MPG (low 50s vs. high 50s), but have much better wet weather traction and a quieter ride. Now I get about 550 miles per tank, though I've had a few in the 590s. I drive about 90 miles per day round trip on my commute in the rolling hills of VA, mostly on rural 55 MPH 4 lane highway, with 3 miles of 25-45 MPH 2 lane road on either end. I don't do anything too special other than keep my tires inflated to about 37 front/35 rear, stick to the speed limit, coast down hills to pick up speed and then lose speed going up the other side. I usually fill up when the trip A miles = displayed MPG x 10, about once per week. This usually results in driving about 50 miles after the last pip starts blinking and a 10.5 gallon fill up. I'm probably the reason why they passed a $100 Prius tax in VA. Do I get an award? $100 Prius Tax. Toyota should wear that like a badge of honor. Still seems excessive - more than the missed fuel tax. They should be giving you a tax credit to encourage using less fuel, not punishing you.
Stock wheels and tires at 44psi all the way around This was in January, up in the mountains, cold, and snow. I go from sea level to 4,000 feet elevation 3 days a week The other 2 days I go to 1,000 feet elevation I drive about 1,000 miles a week 95% of the mileage was on the freeway - highway. I drive in the slow lane and pulse and glide I am not sure how long the low fuel warning was on, or if it even was on? I know I could have gone longer but stopped to fuel up because the nearest gas station in the direction I was headed was 60 miles away.
I might as well throw my hand in. Late Fall using Pulse and Glide techniques on Performance Plus 17" Wheels. If I remember correctly I went about 100 miles after light started blinking.

I'm a new member of the Prius fan club and this is my second tank of gas since I purchased this vehicle. Still trying to figure out what works to prop up the mileage. This is the best time of year for mileage in Phoenix as we don't need AC yet, but that's just around the corner so this tank may be my only hope to break 600 until November. I commute about 16 miles each way and only do a short stretch on the freeway each day so this represents about 80% surface streets in rush hour. I pushed the blinking light farther than I should have, as my fill up was 10.28 gal (scary!). I can't believe the difference in the HSI mileage vs calculated; about 4 mpg different. But I'm excited to get this far in just a month - it was fun to participate but I really don't think I'll ever make the 700 mile club. I'm really in awe of those who do.
