Thanks for posting the pics. My car is also white and I was planning to tint the fronts 50%, but wasn't sure how it would look. They look great, hopefully light enough to avoid a ticket.

This is new? I thought you got those last year and had the fronts re-done but looked more like 40%.

Edit: Never mind. I just remembered it was the old Prius. So you agree the installer definitely put a darker shade the 2nd time around?

Yup. The tint on the old 2012 was definitely a lot darker than the 50% I just put on the PIP.

Ordered the five axis sf:6 wheels... Now gotta find time to install the fog kit/grill that has been sitting in the back seat of my car for over a week. Now time to find a good deal on some H&R springs.

I installed leds for turn signal indicators behind the mirrors. Not quite as daunting as I feared, thanks to instructions from CivicSky for how to get to the mirrors: DIY JDM style side mirrors combo lights (Signal+Parking+Courtesy lights) | PriusChat

I also used the video instruction for how to disassemble the actual mirror and lift the heating element to place the leds between that and the back side of the mirror. I originally installed these Universal Side Mirror LED Turn Signal Lights Arrow Kit but changed them out because they were almost invisible during the daytime. The video at the bottom of that page does a nice job of explaining how to remove the mirrors and heating element behind the mirror.

I installed these instead, removing them from the plastic housing so just the led board was used: AM series Miniature Oval Accent Light - Black | LED Light Modules | Accent Lighting | Super Bright LEDs

I am ok with these for now but may want to eventually go with the JDM side mirrors when there is another group buy for those.

Here are some rather crappy pics; I'll try some low light shots later on. the top pic is a close-up of the led array; the actual yellow color of the leds did not show up well in the photo. The illumination in the background of the photo is from the led turn signals in front ( Tail Light Brake Light Turn Signal LED Bulbs )

And here's a shot from the rear of the car. The mirror signal are definitely not as bright as the Revier tail signals, but then again, not many other leds are as blindingly bright as those.

I finally got my RAM mount installed for my camera. Unfortunately, I need more parts as there isn't enough room between the windshield and the camera mount to mount the camera right side up. So I ordered a couple more pieces that should make it work. This mount is actually intended for GPS or cell phones but because of interchangeable parts you can do with it what you want. I'll post additional photos once I get everything installed and adjusted.

I drove it like a man possessed... Looked in the rearview mirror and saw a new 2013 WGM Prius shadowing me doing the same thing...

 On another thread, there is one Prius Mod that has license frame that flips from underneath the car. I am giving that Mod some serious thoughts.
