I can only deal with 7-pound tigers. Named her Mewdonna, and has an attitude just like the rock star. Found another home because she was fighting and howling at other cats - needed a place she could be alone.
Avatar photo is new for me - lawn chairs were stowed pre Hurricane Sandy, just got back from shopping and unloading groceries and whipped the fiddle out to start playing again... the fiddle instructor always told me to go "woodshed" my tunes which means go somewhere and just play until it sounds right... my roommate/brother caught me off guard but I liked the sunlight effects in the photo and I did have the best chair in the yard...

Madison Marie, she's been a best friend to me since I was probably 4 or 5 years old, we grew up in the same neighborhood together & always played babies and house, etc. This was taken a few weeks ago. We even work together. Shopping. And a comic I made because I've been thinking about getting the Nissan LEAF.
All the youngsters here! Guess it shows that you can actually teach the old dog a few tricks...(my kids are grown and out West these days but both were "impressed" with the choice of car I bought).... This brings me back a bit...back at the last school I worked at (I am an administrative assistant - the one who hunts you down if the principal wants to see you in my first school, making the cogs run efficiently in my current school as I learn the ropes), I was the "oldest" player on a team to challenge the kids to a kickball game of students versus teachers/staff to raise funds for Make A Wish. I nicknamed "our" team "Granny and the Brat Pack" since I was definitely the oldest member -- the next "oldest" could have been 10+ years younger than me... and one of the few ladies on the team. The students beat us but I found that I could still send a kickball flying and despite six surgeries to my knees, almost got to first on my own power! And funds raised were for a good cause!

Good Gawd that reminds me of my youngest child... he LOVES carbs (he came home from college with Doritos called "Tacos at Midnight" (I was like, "What the hell are these?!") and more sour cream dip than any human can safely consume but being an aspiring model/actor is always fighting exercising/eating in some sort of healthy balance. He has the greenest transportation - a bike and is fit from riding all over his city so he can fuel up as he wishes...

Mississippi is too hot for a real beard, I will shave before May. In Nevada I shaved every seven years.
