The bolt thru my idler pulley is so tight that I'm afraid I will break it trying to loosen it.
Is that bolt a left hand thread by any chance? Thanks a bunch, conrad

Is this the bolt that goes through the center of the idler pulley or the long brass tensioner bolt?
If the center bolt it may be reverse so normal rotation does not unscrew it. Not at home and can't get to files.

No, it is not left hand thread. Use a cheater bar if necessary to provide sufficient torque. Tightening torque is 30 ft.-lb.
