3D Evo with MHL adapter and HDMI cable fishing under center console. Usually on the floor of the center console and closed. 3G/4G and cell phone reception was still good inside the center console. 3D Evo have side mhl video out so phone tray was useless.

Nice! Now I'm second guessing if I should just get rid of the OEM navi unit.

Go for it!, peterjmc. Now a day it a privilege to have a car with Double Din. Which now seem that car manufacturer are forcing you to use their over-price, outdated, non-customizable Telematics system.

Looks awesome! I was wondering if you had to buy the Android adapter for the Appradio 2 or if you are just using an HDMI cable.

Gus6464, if you phone have a video out thru microusb MHL or HDMI by way of an adapter or straight out to a hdmi cable it must likely is compatible with the appradio 2. appradioforums.com is a great source to get the answers to what can work and what can't, what Roms will work for hdmi out. Everyone in that forum mention the Android adapter kit is waste of money.
