Auto Meter 2343 Autogage Mechanical Tire Pressure Gauge : Amazon.com : Automotive

It is a little pricey for a mechanical gauge, consider you can get a similar looking one from WalMart branded SLIME for 4.99. I am tired of having gauges that read 3 PSI off from each other, and ones with poor repeatability from run to run, and in the end I don't know which gauge or run to believe.

Hopefully this is the "professional grade", and I will use it as my master gauge that I keep in the garage.

I am an engineer and a little OCD when it comes to measurements. :)

I have that exact same one (also bought from Amazon) and have been using it for a couple of years now, I would buy the same one again. Works good and seems accurate but it is hard to find a place to get it tested.

I like the stick gauge: very compact, never goes out of adjustment, AFAIK.

You have to watch those things. I had one go bad on me and the pressures were all over the place and it was not a cheap one.

^ Yeah, maybe safety in numbers. I do have a couple of the stick kind, and a digital gauge. Use them all, every once in a while, to see if anyone of them is drifting.

I bought a simular guage and it seems to work well. Mine may not be super accurate, but at least you can keep the tires at the same pressure. The stick guages don't seem to work, the valve stems are too short.
