Fuelly iPhone "App" Trick

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we submitted an update to apple last night that will allow for users to add odometer readings as well as miles since last fuel up. We are currently working on international support. If you can think of any more suggestions please let us know.

 

I have a suggestion. Allow users to enter their kWh into the app, convert the kWh into gasoline equivalent (1 gallon = 33kWh) and post the gasoline equivalent to Fuelly with the gross kWh saved in the notes field.

and do an android version.

 

Gotta say this is really a nice app! My hat goes off to the team!

 

How about giving us a free code for testing it out?

I'm using Gas Tracker now and I recommend it. I still log in at the Fuelly web site and enter my information, but the data shows up on my iPhone application. Awsome app.

 

What are you suing them for?

 

This app is great. I dropped my phone and cracked the retina display and the app is still working. See the photo.

 

I meant USING. Damn iPhone rearranges the spelling. This is a great application. Worth every penny. I suggest everyone download it from the iTunes store.

 

I just dl'd it. Not bad. I'm used to having Fuelly bookmarked to my screen and navigating to the actual site. Was a pain bc I always had to pinch to zoom the input data. This app makes it a bit easier and quicker.
BTW, is that a screen shot from your phone? Even if the screen is broken, how did the shot come out like that?

 

"PS Express" from Adobe. It has special effects for your pictures. Many of the special effects are free some are chargable but not much. I just use the free stuff and it is fun. Perfect for the iPhone and iPad.

 

A tip. You can take a picture of your iPhone screen by clicking the power down button and the Siri Button right after. It will take a screen shot and put it in your photo album.

A single tap is all that is required

 

Very True single tap, and Twitter or Prius Chat and your screen shot can circle the Globe. Amazing how technology has progressed. I can't imagine what will be in the future. Perhaps Siri a rude stab at Artificial Intelligence will take over the most mundane tasks that require some thought and leave us to have a perpetual vacation in some tropical island while our smart phones think for us the most mundane tasks like what our MPG is. Perhaps one day I can ask my iPhone to ask my Prius; hello Prius what is my MPG and the Prius will respond I’m not telling you because it is not necessary. Geez- Space Odyssey 2001 all over again.

 

There is some mention of an international version to be released in the thread as communicated to the Frenchman.

 

I just downloaded it and it looked pretty good ... except that when I went to the home screen and tried to select Notes, it crashed. I tried this several times with the same result.

 

I know how to take a screenshot, but was wondering about the effect on your photo. So you basically used an app to create that effect? I thought you took a screenshot and it came out like that

 

I took the photo first than applied the special effects.

 

I'm having the same problem. Does anyone have a solution?
