Looking to get one, Advance auto lists it on the web page as being able to get one in the store, but when I went in I got deer in headlights.
I found out about an hour after I posted I went to the wrong store! Auto Zone supposedly has them on the shelf, not Advanced, no wonder I got the deer in headlights look. Lowest I saw was 148 on Amazon but was about $9 for shipping. Going to see if the Autozone up the road has it during lunch.
Thats what I was talking about but didn't remember the price. Very good price for people who want to use one.
Autozone had one. Looks like the MPH may need to be adjusted. Distance traveled is off by .4 miles. Good news is I recorded 42.1 on the dash, 42.3 on the SGii. Not going to do anything to it at this time, I want to use it in the 2010 a few times first.
CleanMPG sells them. I'm not sure how competive the price is, it is reasonable, and it is for a good cause.
Yep. $105 was about right when it was a gold box deal or something like that. If you don't need one in a hurry, set a price alert at ScanGauge II Ultra Compact 3-in-1 Automotive Computer with Customizable Real-Time Fuel Economy Digital Gauges | Amazon price tracker / tracking, Amazon price history charts, Amazon price watches, Amazon price drop alerts | camelcamelcamel.com .
Now, just need to figure out how to use it. Looks like it is car specific, so cant really switch between cars without reconfiguring it, so for now going to leave it at the default setting with the exception of the engine size and hybrid setting.
Set the fuel tank size so you can see how it is doing. I have swapped back and forth but I did not like resetting the thing. I find the ScanGauge simple to set up and to operate. Much more so than my Ultra Gauge. Have fun, Dan
