    STNterm is a terminal program that you can download (free) onto your computer. You can then alter the speed that your elm327 communicates at. The the speed when supplied is set at 38400, you need it to run at 2m if possible, but the cheap clones only seem to run 500,000 max. I find this is fast enough to run Priidash.

    I cant get this to work. I got cygwin installed, i click on xwin, and it is just a black blank window. nothing happens.

    Have you tried the windows version.

    i tried downloading it. i extracted it to my desktop. so i go to desktop/ priidash/priidash2/bin/priidsah2.exe, i click on it a window pops up. a second later the error tone and a window that says.
    " this application has failed to start because cygwin1.dll was not found. reinstalling the application may fix this problem".

    there was a post to supposedly take me to the windows version, but its the same version i already put on my computer. i am running win xp sp3

    I'll see if I can dig out what version I am running and let you know. I am running XP with service pack 3.

    hopefully its just a broken link. that would be nice to not have to mess with cygwin

    Try this:- Unzip - double click Priidash folder - double click bin folder - double click Priidash VC2010.

    ok, it comes up now. but when i try to run simulation it comes up with the fatal error/ send report screen. will i be able to use my autoenginuity connector with this?

    Yes you should. Have you designated a drive for the log files.

    In just tried setting it to my C:\ drive and it goes righ back to F:\ drive

    You must set up a partition designated F or use a memory card or external drive designated F

    ok. now I put my flash drive in and tried to change it to E:/ 01priusobdlog and E:/01priuscsvlog and it does the same thing
