Ken - Maybe if I pay attention to these numbers they will improve. Thank you. I just clicked on the spreadsheet and wrote down all the column headings. It looks like it'll take longer to write the info than to pump the gas! (There ought to be an App - via Bluetooth - for this!) Just to be sure, the interval at which you record your data is only at fill-up time, starting with next fill-up, correct?
Right, I've mentioned a few times that the PIP needs a Data Logger. I used to photograph the displays, but now I write down the screen data while I'm waiting for the pump or right after. I use a Kill A Watt meter at home and one at work, record the daily kWh at each location on a calender and then reset them. Then I add up the total kWh for the Fillup. I use Trip B and EV2 for the Fillup Data, then reset them. I use Trip A and EV1 to get daily data when needed.
It's there. I change it to point to the "Enter Data Here" tab and it changed the link to "Welcome to Google Docs". I added a 2nd link at the top of the message too. So just click on "Welcome to Google Docs".
Kill A Watt meter as in this? P3 - Kill A Watt Is that necessary to determine column E? I think I've captured the relevant data via photo. I have taken photos for my last three fill-ups, so I have entered just the first fill-up, then will wait to see if you think it was entered properly. Thanks again.
Yep, P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor by P3 International $50.00 $18.99 Order in the next 23 hours and get it by Tuesday, Jan 8. More Buying Choices I bought 3 from Amazon. One for PIP at Home, one for Work and a 3rd to check my other appliances. Home Depot only has the more expensive EZ Meter. $28.97 P3 International Kill A Watt EZ Meter
External kWh is the value for Column E. It's not required, but we compare it to the PIP value from the EV screen used for Column H.
Got it. My last three gas tank fills were all on one charge anyway, so it should work. Do my entries look correct?
Jonas, You only added 1 entry. I already moved it over. - 1/4/2013 Jonas Studebaker 163Miles 4.4Gallons
