I am about break even on gas and EV now. What are the prices around you? Diesels may have a hard time now. I didn't get gas here but some better places are ~$3.06 now.

Heck, I do not know what it is here, I haven't needed to fill up in over a month lol.

That's one helluva cheap price where you are though, wow.

Gas would have to be $1.13 / gallon before I break even on EV vs HV. I don't ever see that happening.

Also, don't worry, it will go back up. Higher than where it was before it went down.

Well, I haven't filled up my PiP since October, I got gas in our other car.

EV ~ .05 a mile and gas this cheap is about .06 a mile.

Edit: I am about .03 for EV. I will have to look at all the fees and such.

$3.33 at the Poway Costco is the cheapest i've filled up since I get 3% cash back. Diesel is $3.53 all the way to $3.99 but the majority of stations are $3.93 with only a handful under that and 2 at $3.99.

The last time I filled up, RUG was $3.03 at the local Hess and with the 5% kickback on the credit card, that made it $2.88. Since then, it's jumped to $3.25, but I'm still working on the cheaper tank. :D

You get off of 95 in Petersburg, Va and take 85 to his place. I wait until then to top off.

Depends on the gas station. At Fairfax and San Vicente Shell in Los Angeles its $4.79 for 87 octane. People must just not read the signs, or be in a rush and need an open pump.

Up here in Northwestern Oregon at Costco Wholesale in Warrenton, Oregon the price
as of two days ago was $3.209 per gallon for regular unleaded winter blend with 10% Ethanol.

The price has been fairly stable for the last few weeks or so. Diesel is about $3.80 per gallon. I remember
when I first purchased my German made VW Rabbit Diesel in 1977 diesel fuel was the least expensive fuel you could
get usually 5-10 cents a gallon less than regular gas sometimes even more than that. Boy those were the days......
