Hey All, Question about the keyless entry (comfort access) feature. I know I can unlock all the doors on the PASSENGER's side door handle, but how do I do that in the DRIVER's side door handle? I always end up opening my door on the driver's side then having to push the unlock button inside the car to open up my wife's door. Is there a better way other than using the key? Am I missing something? Or, can I set the default action for my key to just unlock all doors when I grab the driver's side door handle? Thanks!
I believe I've searched for the same feature to find out it doesn't exist. You can only do it with the remote.
Don't know if it works on the Prius C, but this worked on the V: hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the remote for 5 seconds...the car will beep a few times. After that, grabbing the driver door handle unlocks all the doors.
Try this... it work for me http://www.toyota.com/t3Portal/document/om/OM52B58U/pdf/sec_1-3.pdf Switching the door unlock function It is possible to set which doors the entry function unlocks using the wireless remote control. Turn the “POWER” switch off. When the indicator light on the key surface is not on, press and hold unlock button for about 5 seconds while pressing and holding lock button . The setting changes each time an operation is performed, as shown below. (When changing the setting continuously, release the buttons, wait for at least 5 seconds, and repeat step 2.) Unlocking doors Beep Holding the driver's door handle unlocks only the driver's door. Exterior: Beeps 3 times, Interior: Beeps once Holding the front passenger’s door handle unlocks all the doors.
