why is my ICE starting???

I'm a little suspicious of the "low temp" setting. I leave climate control off.

 

i do too. but i also keep the temp on low unless i want heat.

 

with climate control off there is no "Temp low" setting

 

right, but when you turn the fan on, there is. so, with the fan on, i turn the temp to low and then fan off.

 

that's a lot of extra work doing that, turning climate control off is so much simpler

 

i mean you only do this once lol

 

I set my temp to 70 degrees ONCE. leave my climate control off. When I drive the next two months I will be using ICE b/c of the 6 month fuel replenishment requirement. Then I turn climate control on, already set at 70 degrees

 

simpler, but if you leave the temp higher than outside, the ice will fire, even if the fan is off.

 

don't care b/c I gotta use 5 gallons of gas in two months and I'm only 2.7 miles from work going twice a week

 

If your engine is starting every time you go 30 feet are you telling us you have zero EV range to use? You did not mention how many miles of EV the battery says you can go?

 

If you have Heat set to lo and defrost set to on, engine will fire! and go thru warm up.

Where I used to work, it was 16 miles one way, then the store closed, they moved me to a store that was closer to home.

 

same seniority, bumped a lot of employees down the ladder, there is only three employees with more seniority than me, at old store there was eight

 

Go on a vacation and burn up all that bad gas.

 

can't, used up all my vacation time, and even if I could, I couldn't (car payments)
