Yeah, it fits under the driver seat for sure and didn't extend out to take up leg room for the rear passenger. I couldn't put it under the passenger seat because of the navigation. I had a 2012 Prius FIVE with the upgraded navi. I am not sure about the passenger side. Does yours have anything under the passenger seat?
I'm actually getting a PiP and was considering getting this. It seems like you have a PiP now as well? Does this not work with the PiP?
I know it doesn't fit under the driver or passenger seat in the PIP advance. Do you have anything under the driver or passenger seat? Are you getting a PIP base or advance. If advance I know it won't work.
I wanted something that wouldn't take up trunk space. I had in it my 2012 Five and it was under the driver seat and was perfect. But, in the PIP the jack is underneath the driver seat.
It seems like it would fit in that trunk compartment under that little trap door. Did you try that? I'm just wondering because I wanted to see if there were issues with overheating, rattles, etc. Also, did you find a better subwoofer fit for the PIP?
I ended up not getting another subwoofer. I am just using the stock JBL sound system. I didn't want to take up space in the rear...even in the rear compartment.
