Is the dashboard clock in my C4 updated through the satellite radio or the RDS system? I have had my car since May and the clock remains nearly (+-5 seconds) perfectly synchronized with my cellphone clock.
Probably not. On my 2011 Gen. III the dash clock is separate from the Navi. and the Sat. Radio. Check your owners manual or look on the dash for the buttons to set the time. Posted from my iPhone via the Tapatalk app.
Yes I do have Nav. The manual does not mention any synchronization capability though. Still, the Prius C clock is very stable for it to have stayed nearly dead on over 4 months.
I just leased a Prius C yesterday, the clock is still on Day Light Savings Time. I looked in the manual and says to hold the DISP button down on the steering wheel, I can get it to Settings time and date but from there I do not have a clue on how to adjust the hour.
Doesn't the display show you exactly which buttons to press once you're there? It's been a while since I changed it, perhaps I'm imagining things.
It does not but I could be missing something. I guess I do not know what to push to make it scroll, I would think if I held down the DISP button the hour or minutes would start flashing they you could adjust by maybe tapping the DISP button but it does not seem to work that way.
I got the same problem when first trying to adjust the clock that's supposed to be the job of the dealership. It's not like adjust a digital watch at all. You have to hold down long enough to get thru all the days of the year until you reach the time you want. Luckily, this is a new car so you have just a few months back.
The navi is not synched to the clock. I drove through a time zone this summer. The nav changed time but the clock did not.
Hold down either DISP (to move time to the future) or TRIP (to get time back into the past). I got to move forward 16 months for my C4.
