Amazon.com: Hopkins RETRO-CHA Retro Cupholder (Charcoal): Automotive Anyone has any ideas about the wasted space beneath the central panel and in front of the arm rest? The small drawer doesn't hold anything.
when i owned my gen II's, i always hoped some aftermarket company would come up with a creative use for the empty space. unfortunately, not. then, toyota came along with the flying bridge. clogged up all the empty space and less storage than before. epic fail.
I haven't used the little drawer in the front, but the wife has a nice cloth bag with velcro on the bottom. It sits very neatly there and holds a square box of Posh Puffs, Drinking Straws, Deposit and Withdrawal Slips for the bank, and our handicapped plaque to boot. Also doubles as a trash can if needed. I do agree that on the Gen III Toyota really did screw up when they added that useless cage up front where the empty spot is on the Gen II. Ron
