    Hey everyone!
    I have great news for everyone that picked up their Prius C and totally disappointed with the audio sound quality! OEM Audio picked up my car and they are prototyping a system to be produced for the Prius C and hopefully the rest of the Prius family. Here is a link below to their site and youtube page. I was stunned at how great their system is and how it is a "plug-n-play" system. Everything looks and sounds clean and crisp! If you are in the So. Cal area, I will be posting dates when you can sample the sound in my C. They are also going to be at the FR-S event this Sunday at the Fontana Speedway and monthly at Longo Toyota.

    I don't get it. Plug an play? What is there to plug an play besides a USB and bluetooth microphone adapter? I'd have to venture that my system kicks the sh!t out of any 'plug and play' adaptation.

    Alright, it is aftermarket quality but they just make the connections compatible with the car w/o splicing and dicing. Just to 'clean' for my liking as I like the chopping and fabrication part.

    Will this be in the car at Toyotafest? Last time we talked to him, it wasn't done yet but they were working on it.

    Yes! The car sounds awesome! Fits flush and trunk space is not compromised.

    have they decided on the price? can you post some images?
    where in so cal is the shop located? thanks! everyday my sound system makes me want to blow my ears out

    They haven't finalized the numbers yet. Once I have more info I will post it on the thread. They are in Eastvale, CA. If anyone is interested please PM and I will give you some info.

    Here is the latest photo of the sub enclosure on my Prius C from OEM Audio plus. The sound surpasses the factory speakers and the installation is straight forward and seamless. No tuning straight plug and play, pretuned from the box. People that have heard the system were blown away.

    Very interested. Can you give a ballpark cost? How does the installation work with the factory navigation head unit which (i think) doesn't have pre outs? Something that a DIYer could install? Thanks!

    The kit is made so almost anyone can install it. It's all plug and play. Everything plugs in the back of the navigation unit. I will get pricing and give you an update.
