I get this light at least once a week while driving, it's just the traction control in my case. Either I'm a hoon or the roads here are a bit poor.

It also gets set off on certain grates, like the one at the bottom of the ramp into my carpark at home. As well as the orange warning indicator flashing it also makes a noise like someone flicking a metal spring or something.

I improved the glare issue on the Nav screen with a good tint job (and messing with the contrast setting in 3 different menus) and next on the list (which I am surprised more people have not mentioned) is the sub-par headlights. I find myself often looking for the icon on the dash to figure out if they are even on when I am in a lighted parking lot. That should be fixed tomorrow with the HID kit that showed up this evening from Xenonsupply. Mudflaps are on my short list whenever they become a reality.

All in all, this seems to be a pretty fantastic sub-compact car for the price. The airbag light is annoying and should be demphasized if possible on the next rev. FWIW I like the hill stop assist in Seattle and I do use it.

Yes I found the glare an irritation as well and will have to follow your lead there. I fixed my weak high beam with a replacement to Philips Extreme Vision bulbs.

The factory high beam in our i-Techs is really rather absurd paired with the LED headlights... haven't had much call to experience them much yet, but what I've noticed so far was less than impressive.

My biggest glare/visibility issue is with the screen for the stereo. I have tinted windows, and during the day I also drive wearing polarized sunglasses and when wearing those sunglasses, that screen may as well be blank because I can't see a thing. If I want to know what song is playing, or read anything on that screen, I have to take the glasses off.

I haven't read anyone mention no lock on the glovebox.possibly, I'm the only person on here that carries a pistol and when I need to go into a post office or government building that is posted,I need a secure location.Of course the vehicle would get locked but I would feel better if it was in a locked glovebox and then a locked vehicle.I'm also a little confused, I leave the right rear seat folded down but the headrest is still on it.Do people mean that the travel on the front seats are limited if the headrest are left on? I' still having problems changing radio stations with voice command but I suspect it is just me doing something wrong, it always thinks I want to make a call. I still love my little cookie monster C.

You might consider an actual lockbox for the gun.

Leaving the headrests on while folding down the back seats might limit how far the front seats can be pushed backward, but I haven't tried so I'm just guessing. My 2 does not have voice command, so I cannot comment on that.

MNBud.. you are not alone, but I haven't been to a post office yet and needed a quick ditch location. I'll have to think about that. I don't normally use the glove box anyways.

Are there any Toyotas that have locked glove boxes? Last time I've seen that was on my old Honda Accord…

    My biggest complaint
    No rear camera
Voice recognicion not accurate 3 out of 5 times.
    Pandora a joke
Should have one map pocket on each seat instead of 1. (rear of front seats)
Why not a dual cup holder in the back? and an additional ac connector por passengers?

I still love the car and the fuel economy but could have been better. I own the C (4)

I also took issue with this. My solution was to get fatter.

I have trouble getting into a comfortable driving. Steering can't telescope back enough relative to my feet/pedal position. No where to rest my feet as the cupholders intrude onto my left leg (RH drive)

I'm pretty sure our 91 and 96 Camrys both had them. I too am not sure about newer ones. My former 02 Nissan Maxima and 04 350Z had them.

My 06 Prius' glove box has no lock either. :(

Like the others ,would have really liked a back-up camera on nav screen, automatic headlights and mud flaps.

Overall I am pleased with the C.

    Biggest complaints:

    No auto headlights
    No auto-dimming rear view mirror
Steering wheel texture is really rough on dry winter hands
    Rear windshield wiper almost useless
Glare on Nav screen is awful. It was never like that on my 2007 Prius
No dead pedal (the carpeting in that area is going to wear fast)

    Edited to add:

The turn signals are horribly insensitive. I am having to manually shut them off a lot, whereas my 2007 Prius rarely had that happen.

The one upside to the rough steering wheel is that my hands don't slip when wearing gloves (ones without textured/rubber palms).

I don't like the climate control as much as I hoped. I've found I don't like leaving it on auto, and I don't find it very intuitive to use manually. (I make do, of course, and manage to stay comfortable :) )

I wish the speedometer/display was at 12'o clock position of steering wheel. No one else in the car needs to know how fast I'm going or what the current mileage is. Get in, sit down, shut up, and hold on!
