Headlight low beam bulb replacement 2011 prius

    any good links or threads on how to replace low beam bulbs? all info i found was talk about whether they were covered under warranty or not? I got extended maintenance warranty to 100k miles, but bulbs, I don't think so. I just noticed today that both were out on low beam, high beam are fine. Should I take car to dealer? or is this something I can do myself?

    Bulb replacement instructions (and bulb sizes) are in the DIY maintenance section of the owners manual. Easy DIY--no need to pay dealer for labor and bulb mark up.

    Yes, that is what i did, thought it would be bad but had no problem at all replacing the low beam bulbs. That fixed the problem, the coils were burned into on both. They were $8.49 each at O'Reilly auto parts.
