for those of you who know Plasti Dip I've been thinking for awhile know if I should remove my Hubcaps and plasti dip the Rims on my 2010 Red Prius. Is that a good idea? and If you have an example of what it would look like please send it to me below. Thank you! Im just Tired of driving a Stock Red Prius and would like to make it unique and diffrent from the rest of them including the same Exact Red Prius a few houses down from me.

sure...its worth a try. The Plasti dip is only 6 bucks and if you dont like it .....you can peel it off.

It's a good idea if it pleases you. It it is to impress someone else, you need to tell us what they like. What colors are you considering?

It's not to Impress anyone. I just enjoy modifiying cars and wanted to get peoples opinion first before i do anything. Plasti dip is a Matt Black Paint that you can use on your car and if you dont like where you put it you can always remove it and find another spot on your car to plasti dip. My plan is to remove my ugly hubcaps and plasti dip the rims and also the front lip below the License Plate. Pictures of my Prius are on my Profile if you want to take a look.

Anything is better than plastic Frisbee covers over your alloy wheels!

Like this for the front end? And I am currently in Phoenix but when I get back I have 2 cans for the wheels...it was either white or black so Plasti-Dip red first then if I dont like it I can always photoshop it white before paying for paint.[IMG]

Maybe you can find someone with a 2012 to trade stock alloys with? The 2012's come with black painted wheels, maybe someone is out there that wants silver alloys.

Edit: Powder coating would be better than PlastiDip, much more durable.
