It was the first time I had been waved at or waved back. I am going to start right now though, adding it to the finger I give every H2, H3 and escalade.
Saw two on vacation. One classic silver, one black sand pearl. Always a thrill to see another C on the road!
We are going on vacation next week and I plan on counting how many C's I can spot. The last vacation I went on I saw one I think. LOL
It's funny, I'm seeing liftbacks everywhere now... even right near where I live (and we're not realllly Prius territory 'round these parts). There's one that lives on the street near the bottom of the redevelopment I'm in and tonight I saw one parked on the street near the top. I do frequently drive in areas I'd consider Prius heartland and I'm always on the lookout... but it's just liftbacks, liftbacks and more liftbacks. I'm starting to fear that when I finally spot a c I'm going to be so distracted that I'll end up having an accident.
Saw a white prius yesterday! So far no waves even when we wave (maybe they are watching their fuel monitor), Ha!
My husband and I did a trip from Utah to Michigan and back. Hit the following states visiting family and friends: Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan. Saw a white regular prius about every 10-15 minutes on the interstate (and about every other color in between). Only 4 prius C's the entire trip: A habanero in Kansas City outside a hole-in-the-wall dealership A white Prius C in Chicago we ended up pulled up behind getting back to the interstate A gray on the interstate somewhere in Iowa A habanero driving down the street in the Chicago Suburbs There was a blue, but I forgot to look and see if it was smiling or frowning so I'm not 100% sure if it was a C or a yaris. saw more V's than C's strangely enough.
Well colour me surprised. Turned into the driveway ramp at home tonight and there was a vehicle ahead of me waiting for the security door to finish opening. That vehicle ahead of me was a White Prius c, base model! April registration, so it must be quite an early one, that's when they went on sale here. How exciting... of all the places to spot one! It parked in a spot for the next building over.
Saw a super white C today at the mall. I was so excited! Managed to snap a few pics of it. Jealous of the alloys
Makes me think of the old Volkswagen spotting game my sisters and I used to play when Mom took us on long car trips (waaaaaay back in the old days before you could watch movies while in the car). A bug was worth 2 points, a red bug 5 points, a van 10 points and a RED VAN a whopping 15 points. So....2 points for a C and 5 points for one the same color as whatever you are driving?
I saw a red C heading east on Route 25 in Massachusetts last Saturday, just before the turnoff for the bridge to Cape Cod. I pulled alongside him twice, but he didn't even look at me.
Saw a habanero today in Westerville. Think it is the same one I saw a week or so ago. Waved, but she was busy trying to turn :-(
LOL. Was the white C trying to avoid the toll? Learning to fly? More seriously: -poor guy/girl at the booth as a flyng car was going toward her/him. -Glad to see all the airbags were deployed -hope the blame is not on a runaway Prius Sent ?
I thought the side airbags where supposed to deploy only when the car was T-boned... Anyway... Yesterday saw what looked like a greyish-blue c on my way back home. It was driven by an older gentleman and he was in a *hurry*. I guess the c is becoming very popular around here...
Ouch, the poor c. Hopefully everyone's OK and could walk away from that one. I wonder if they were trying to get over to the lane marked "c"? "The SRS curtain shield airbags may also deploy in the event of a severe frontal collision".
