Looks like there will be a new prius in my family.

I now need to decided on color. I like the white except when the bumper gets scratched- The actually bumper is black and it tends to look crappy.

So I guess I am leaning to the dark grey Anyone else? Do you like your color why or why not?

Toyota didn't offer the color I wanted on the PIP. I like the blue and the green isn't bas but I settled on White and am OK with it

I really like my sea glass pearl, but if I were going to do it again, I would probably get white or silver. That's because I drive about 75% electric, and running the AC reduces my electric range by 1.5 miles (or over 10%). So, living in sunny Sacramento, the lightest color would keep me cooler when not running the AC. But then again, if you happen to live where the winters are cold, you may want a darker color that would absorb more heat? I think your best bet might be to buy 2 PIP's - a white one for the summer, and a dark grey one for the winter.....:)

Me too! I wanted dark blue, but ended up with the Winter Gray Metallic. Funny thing is, prior to submitting my preorder, I had decided on the silver. When I actually placed my order, I picked WGM. I didnt even notice I picked it until much later. But I am happy with it. It looks sweet when clean.. very shiny.

Winter Grey Metallic was my first exterior color choice, but IMO opinion the silver accents clashed and I wanted to avoid the very monochromatic look of the interior and exterior being the same color. Classic Silver Metallic is my second exterior choice and what I chose. It mostly blends away the silver accents and provides a distinct color between interior and exterior.

got the classic silver pretty indifferent about it, but from my understanding silver cars have a really good resale value, and also, it hides dust really well

wanted the blue, but they dont offer it for the pip

also recenty been seeing the tan one around town, and i gota say it looks pretty good. wish it came in that color

Winter Gray was my first choice and I looked far and wide until I found what I wanted 100 miles away. It is dark and shows dirt easily but really looks great when clean and especially when waxed.

My second choice was Silver Gray but my wife's car is silver gray and I did not want two cars the same color.

My Plugin is white. Since I live in Southern California, where temperatures often exceed 100 degrees in summer, I feel white is best as batteries like cooler temperatures.

I selected the white and am pleased except for one issue. I can't put any dressing on the tires as any splatter stains the plastic painted lower panels. The stains in the plastic are not removable.

I got classic silver mostly because the PiP (unlike other Prii) has a wide silver band across the rear regardless of overall vehicle color. To my eye it creates an ugly contrast with any other color, but blends well with the silver.

Silver is also nearly as effective as white in fighting the sun's heat.

I got sea glass, but my two annoying sons keep screaming at me "how could you buy an ugly green Prius!" Luckily, I don't care what they think and I love my pphv.

I got blue because it's the only color that's a color.

Here in Marin County, trying to find a silver Prius in a parking lot is like finding a needle in a porcupine convention. :)

god i just hate silver cars...they are absolutely everywhere and blend so much. I know many like silver but not for me.

I think the new nautical blue is the best color, too bad not in PiP.

I went with the Blizzard Pearl - however - I also love the Clearwater Blue - I have liked it since I saw it on the Camry. Frankly all the colors were nice. Two things that I really like about the Blizzard Pearl, however. One, it does not show dirt very much. I washed the car yesterday (part of the enjoyment of having a new car) as I could feel the grit on the paint, however, if I stepped back 5 feet I could not see the grit on the car. Two, I love the gray interior that comes with the blizzard Pearl.

I enjoy washing the Prius as it is a fairly small car. Washing my Dodge Caravan was a hassle. I needed a step stool to get the top of it. I can wash the Prius in 20 min. and that's opening all the doors and cleaning the door jams and hatchback too. Humm, now that I think about it I should've probably popped the hood and wiped down around there as well! Besides, it would've given me an excuse to look at that marvelous ICE and electric motor. I love looking at it as it is truly a work of art. I learned all this from my neighbor across the street. He washes his cars every single week. A couple of them are 15 years old and they look like they just rolled off the showroom floor.

My weakness is I always forget the windows, until the next day when I'm driving and the sun hits the windshield and I see all the water spots! I am also trying to get in between all of the spokes of the alloy wheels as well. I figure if I keep ahead of it, the grime will not set in.
