I had no idea that is what was involved in the body kit install. It doesn't look hard to do, but dang that is a lot of drilling and rivets. Kind'a like building a plane :)

Absolutely. Which is why someone is gonna charge me a kidney to install it. But ah wells. Such is life. I wonder if the local dealer would do it.

Guess I'm out of luck since my Toyota dealer claims that the TRD kit is not made in Barcelona Red. Something about that I don't buy.

They're not lying to you. The plus package kit only comes in silver, blizzard, black, and winter gray.

Ouch. But I wouldn't let that bother me. I would buy it in grey or something and get paint color code and take it to be painted somewhere. Can't be expensive. All that means is that your car would be all the more unique when you're done bro. Go for it!!!(y)

Ok Will do. If I get desperate and no one seems to wanna help me, I'll go buy a drill and hope for the best. But I really rather not sit there drilling holes into the bumper myself. I have VERY limited drilling experience period. Next thing ya know I drill holes that are too big or some crap. Or I stick on the plastic guide thinies wrong...or God knows.

    Couple dumb questions
    1. What size drill bit?
    2. I assum you just drilled your holes through the holes pre-done on the plastic guide things that stuck on first to the bumper? Then used rivet gun to bore a rivet through each hole?
    3. No drilling at all for side pieces? Just use original clips that are already in place?
    4. How easy are the black plastic pieces to take off from under the bumper that you mention in your first step? Are there clips or are there screws or what?

    Thanks a lot.
