Ordered back in in May, finally got it today 9km on the OD Alpine white, price C tech premium package! ( like the usa P4 with the 16"wheels) so far im lovin it first drive was 45 mins, got below the advertised 3.7 l/100km was a mix of city and country driving,up to speeds of 90 kph and a huge uphill ( niagara escarptment) right before i stopped that made the mpg go up by .2 L first time driving a hybrid. on the way back i took the highway and was suprised how easy i got up to 130kph and when going that fast the car drove so smooth it only felt like i was doing 70kph lol going that fast, AC on high, i still got 4l/100km but i forgot to snap a pic. then i travelled over to the usa this evening, and spent one hour in line on the way back, and was smiling cause i want using any gas sitting there.. came one took my dog for a ride.. and couldnt figure out what the beep i kept hearing was.. then it was getting faster and faster!! then figured out that my dog was in the passenger seat, and it was beeping cause there was no seat belt done up.
May? Wow! You have an amazing patience! Congratulations!!!!!!! You are going to love it!! Well, if you are like me, you are probably in love with it already
You mentioned your "mpg" went up ".2L". You must be Prius bi-lingual. L/100km is certainly a mouthful.
It's easier when your first language is metric! Not sure about the rest of the world but here it's normally only spoken as "litres per hundred". We still call it mileage. Welcome Gcoop... well, welcome as a c driver.
Ordered in May, received end of August? Yikes! I just put an order in last weekend (also in Ontario), I knew it could be over a month, but over 3?? I hope my patience is as good as yours! Enjoy your new C, and share your experiences with it so I may live vicariously through them until mine arrives!
im sitting here at work, i look to my left and see it sitting there in the parking lot, calling to me "drive me, driiiiiveeee meee"
When I got mine tinted, they did not warn me ahead of time that you should not roll your windows down for 2-3 days and not wash them for a couple of weeks. Didn't find out until it was all done and there was a note taped to my rear-view mirror. So if you didn't know already, be forewarned!
No sunroof for me... and it was the heart of the Vegas summer when mine were done. 112 degrees and I couldn't roll the windows down! Running the a/c to compensate killed my MPG for those couple of days. I did give the dealership a ration of grief when they called to ask about my service experience. "But you have air conditioning" she whined. I don't care if I have a/c, that wasn't the point, the point was YOU SHOULD HAVE WARNED ME AHEAD OF TIME. I might have scheduled the tinting for a different day of the week had I known the windows would have to stay up that long. Sorry for the shouting. ;-)
