Any gen 3 fog light (2010, 2011, 2012) will fit. If the LED fog lights fit the 2010-2011, then it will fit the 2012.

Hey those that got the wrong switch from ordering the yaris kit. What did you tell the seller? Did you simply say the switch is too big send me a smaller toyota switch? Thanks

Do the "white" lights on the Mirror stay on all the time?
if so I have two questions.
    1. is it legal?
    2. do they cause a distraction while driving in areas that don't have street lights or other light sources ie: Dark highway or rural roads?

The "pilot" lights on the mirror only turn on with the parking lights.

I cant say for sure if they are legal or not. My guess is that they are.......the ford Trucks have them but in amber.

They dont cause any distraction for me nice person I cant really see them.

Didn't realize how long it's been since I've posted! If you still need a switch, lemme know. I have an extra one lying around and can mail it to you. My seller sent me two, was going to use the extra switch to wire up a rear fog lamp but lack the time at the moment.

EDIT: extra switch has been given away

did you "feed" the relay from a tap on the driving light line power from under the dash or from under the hood?
I'm trying to keep all of the relays for the "additions" under the dash in one location if you tapped it from under the dash I'd be interested in knowing where you located it.

My relay is under the hood near the driver headlight & the fuse box. I extended the switch wires on the Yaris harness in order to get the relay under the hood.

lol I still cant get my fogs to work lol. I think i gave up for now. Just when I thought I got the power right. I noticed the lighting for the switch stays on even when the cars off. So I think I have the wiring right behind the switch wrong. Anyone take pictures on how the switch wiring is?

There are only 3 wires that need to be connected to the car itself:

Power (constant power from batt inside fuse box)
    Ground (any metal contact)
Switched power (ie: parking lights, headlights)

The switch has 4 wires going to it.

    2 red wires
    1 green wires
    1 black wire.

The 2 red wires are really just 1 wires further down the harness & give the switch its illumination plus complete the circut going to the relay.
The green wire goes to the relay
The black wire is a ground for the switch & shares the same ground as the relay.

Can u explain where u have made ur taps & any spliced to the harness (for example if u extended the wires for the switch)?

Sounds like you connected the yellow wire from the switch to a constant 12V instead of the red wire, which explains why your switch light remains on even after the car's off. I drew out my connection when installing the fogs:
    2012-toyota-prius-aftermarket-foglight-diagram.jpg

The wires may be different color than the diagram, but it should fundamentally be the same in terms of function and layout. When in doubt, use a multimeter to measure voltage.

Where I tapped the yellow wire from the switch, i.e. the "trigger" - active when parking lights are on:
    IMG_7195.jpg

Where I sourced my constant 12V (pin-out #3 in relay):
    IMG_7212.jpg

Where I mounted the relay and fuse:
    IMG_7257.jpg

If you want to go for a switchless set-up, disregard the switch in the diagram and tap the wire from pin-out #2 in the relay diagram straight to the parking light wire. Fog lights will light up with your parking lights on.

Yeah Sean I have it thanks again, right now i'm dealing with a sick 9 month old that wont keep cold medicine down. He threw up all over my couch twice and my wife once and my hand once. I wasted a whole bottle of medicine, just when I thought I got the hang of being a dad lol.

Granddaughters Birthday party this weekend, between bounce house and her new four wheeler I'm not sure I'll have time but I'd like to get mine in this weekend now that the mirror signals and fog lights came in today.

fog lightes in and tested, I copied the idea of tapping the trigger from the driving lights. once the 3000K HIDs get here I'll swap out the hallogens. (that I can do without taking the front clip off again. all went well but fishing the switch wires in through the firewall......................... it was like changing sparkplugs through the tailpipe when you have a bad back/neck.

Now on to the HID low beams and the mirror mount turn signals. (y)

I replaced the grill on my Prius and installed a pair of Yaris fog lights from eBay. It is working great, except they seem to be aimed too high, almost towards the sky. During installation I noticed that the lights could be installed on either side. So I made sure the light that was marked with an L was installed on the left side and R on the right side. I am now wondering if this was the correct thing to do. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Can you shim the light assemblies so they are pointing in the right direction? Post some pics if you can of the mounts and so forth.

    Thanks,
    Mike
