I might have to do that. i currently don't see the dealers in the city allowing any negotiation room.

That's a pretty sweet deal from Mossy. I had to work for about 3 hours in June to get $2300 below invoice on my PIP and got the 6 yr Platinum warranty protection and alarm for another $1350. They beat my credit union finance offer and gave me 4 yrs at 1.9% for about 20K financed.

Very happy with this car, Just did 5700 miles to the midwest and back to SoCal through many national parks and high mountain ranges in the rockies and averaged 48 on the way there and 47 on the way back. (With my wife and full load of camping gear, full ice chest, suitcases etc...)

Even did a little off-roading near badlands in South Dakota (LOL), never had a problem with traction and plenty of power going up the mountain roads.

There are great big rebates on the east coast. Not too much volume out there, though.

Oh, I did lots of off road driving in Rocky Mountain area on my 04'. I was surprised that on those rough road in Natural Reserve area, I got like 55 mpg. The motor is very powerful at low speed. However, I end up blow a tire and had to drive 60 miles on spear to get it replaced.

    Prius is unbelievable!

read their ad. They are very specific about the MSRP dollar amount on the cars they are willing to discount that dollar amount. It's not vague. Any other car in stock with a different MSRP they do not have to do anything like that on. And, you have no idea what they have added "stuff" to.

They are banking on the HUGE 2500 off catching your attention and no one reading the fine print, which I already see hardly anyone did. If they are going to take such a huge loss on the cars, expect a wild time there. It's nothing I'd put my buyers thru!

That's how the dealers typically do.
You need to go through all the numbers, compare features and out of pocket amount. It is actually pretty simple.

Of cause you need to show them your patience first, You will not get the straight numbers easily. I helped many of my friends buy cars and negotiate price on their behalf, saved thousands for them and made some honest commissions.

Looks like a minimum of $2k off if we negotiate. That's better then what I got. Guess I need to waste a few hours at the dealer.
