All, After having had the cassette deck in my 2002 repaired, the nav calibration appears to have been thrown off. I have the original repair manuals and thought I could try to fix myself by going into diagnostic mode on the MFD. The manual does indeed show how to do this, but is otherwise a bit hazy on doing the calibration. It mentions a calibration button in a calibration screen, but does not show the screen or explain how to access it. Is there some other piece of equipment involved in doing this? And is this something I should be attempting on my own?
The diagnostic menu, then go through the menus for display or whatever. You will find a calibration one that involves pressing + on the screen. There aren't many menus, it's not hard to find.
Got into Diagnostics and looked through all the screens I could find, but didn't see the calibration screen. You'll need to be more specific.
Hmm... maybe I mistook the touchscreen check with a calibration mode. It does everything you normally do in a cal. ie,. press all the X's. It might just report that the screen isn't working if you go through the Check. Touch Point Check -- Toyota Prius Controls
